… While inflation falls to six year low of 0.3 percent

Meanwhile inflation fell in July to 0.3 percent from 1.2 percent in June. July’s rate of inflation is the lowest the Czech Republic has seen since September 2003. The Czech Statistical Office released the figures on Monday, adding that their consumer price index had fallen by 0.4 percent month-on-month. According to the Statistical Office, the fall in prices was mostly affected by a drop in the cost of petrol and a further cut in the cost of foodstuffs.
