Škoda offers workers 15-percent raise over 27 months

Carmaker Škoda Auto has offered its workers a 15-percent pay rise over a period of 27 months, the Czech News Agency reported. Pay talks between management and union leaders have been going on since the start of the year at the Mladá Boleslav plant.

Under the proposals the workers would also get an additional bonus of CZK 25,000 beyond Škoda’s regular bonus system.

The company have made the deal conditional on an agreement on changing the system of shifts at its flagship plant in the Czech Republic, the Czech News Agency said.
