Security alert disrupts rail traffic

Prague’s main railway station was closed for close to two hours on Wednesday due to a security alert. Police evacuated the premises due to suspect abandoned luggage. The ensuing security operation disrupted traffic on Prague metro’s C-line, with trains merely passing through the station. The station reopened shortly after midday. Due to the fact that trains were stopped Czech Railways is reporting hour-long delays on some routes.
