NHL results: Eliáš scores goal, gets assist in Devils' win over Montreal

New Jersey Devils’ forward Patrik Eliáš scored a goal and earned one assist against Montreal on Saturday to help his team clinch a 3-1 win. The lone Canadiens’ goal came from Tomáš Plekanec – his 20th of the season. The game was a special one for New Jersey goalie Martin Brodeur: it was his 551st win in the National Hockey League, tying the record of retired goaltending legend Patrick Roy.

In other action, Czech forward Micahel Frolík scored the opening goal for Florida against Tampa Bay, later adding an assist. Despite being down 3-1 at one point Tampa Bay managed to turn the game around, coming back to win 4-3 on penalties.
