Former West Ham manager Bilič could head for Sparta: reports

Former West Ham manager Slaven Bilič could be lined up as the new coach of Sparta Prague, Czech news sites reported Thursday.

The web site Seznam reported that Bilič’s agent is due in Prague next week for talks with club bosses about the possible engagement of the Croat.

Sparta are currently fifth in the Czech top league with 25 points. That’s a massive 17 points adrift from league leader Viktoria Plzeň on 42 points. The current manager of the team is Italian Andrea Stramaccioni, whose squad has failed to shine in spite of heavy spending in the transfer market.
