Czech Interior Ministry plans to introduce unrestricted dual citizenship

In the future, the option of dual citizenship may be open to all Czech citizens. Currently, mainly those who are married to foreigners are allowed to file for dual citizenship. Under a new law that is currently being prepared as part of an overhaul of the Czech legislation on citizenship, Czechs citizens would be able to keep their Czech passport even if they become citizens of a foreign country.
