Banking ombudsman to act on behalf of dissatisfied clients from next year

From the beginning of next year a financial arbitrator - a kind of banking ombudsman - will defend the rights of dissatisfied bank clients. The Chamber of Deputies is to elect an independent expert to fill the post. The most common causes of anger among clients of Czech banks are the slow transfer of money and high charges. The post of banking ombudsman is common in European Union countries.
