The producer of one of the Czech Republic's most famous beers - Pilsner Urquell - announced on Wednesday that for the first time ever, the famous brew will be produced outside the city of Plzen. Pilsner Urquell, owned by the beer giant South African Breweries, announced that it was planning to open a satellite brewery in the Polish town of Tychy, in the heavily industrial Katovice area. As preparations for EU membership are well underway, the Czech agricultural sector faces many changes some of which may not be in its favour. Czech farmers may have to adhere to quotas without receiving direct payments to ensure no losses. To shed some light on the subject, spoke to Hugo Roldan, press secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture, and asked him first what some of the main changes were that the agricultural sector will be facing during the Czech Republic's preparation for EU membership:
