Traffic police are increasing their presence on Czech roads after statistics revealed a growing number of accidents in the first eight months of this year.
The police were called to sixty thousand accidents between January and August which is 2,000 higher than in the same period of last year.
Road experts say this is due to increased aggression on the road, inattention and speeding. Traffic police have been posted particularly in high-risk areas.
