Strong storms, including heavy rain and hail, hit the western part of the Czech Republic on Friday night. In the region of Domažlice, torrential rain has swollen local rivers and flooded houses. Fire fighters also had to deal with with fallen trees, which blocked the roads and disrupted power supplies.
