Former PM Paroubek walks out of live interview

Former prime minister and former head of the Social Democratic Party Jiří Paroubek walked out of a live interview with Czech Radio’s Plus station on Friday after disagreeing with questions posed by interviewer Michael Rozsypal. Mr Rozsypal wanted to ask Mr Paroubek about his recent ill-fated attempt to return to the party he once led – derailed by the party’s Prague branch. On Friday, before walking out of the studio, Mr Paroubek made clear he wanted to talk about the Czech political scene and not his attempt to re-join the party.
