Czech ice hockey team in narrow 2:1 win against South Korea

In ice hockey, the Czech team had to come back from behind to prevent a major upset at the Winter Olympics in their first group match against South Korea.

The Korean’s found the net first after eight minutes in the first period. The Czechs scored twice before the break to establish a lead.

But the Czechs looked nervous and troubled in the remaining goalless two quarters and failed to take control or establish a convincing lead.

The Czechs next face Canada on Saturday and Switzerland on Sunday.
