The Czech Telecommunications Office recently reduced maximum fixed-to-fixed interconnection prices, by 9 to 40 percent. The ruling is regarded as bad news for the biggest fixed-line operator, Czech Telecom. Experts expect another reduction in interconnection prices after the regulator adopts a new price methodology - a long-run incremental cost model - in the course of the year.
