Meanwhile, one of the three largest Czech banks, Ceska sporitelna, said it would donate 50 million crowns to the flood-affected areas to help repair the damage. The bank will also offer soft loans to regions, municipalities, companies, and individuals. The bank is also ready to allocate 1 billion crowns for special loans to be granted to regional administration bodies, municipalities, and small and mid-sized businesses, with interest rates three percentage points below the standard rates.
