Almost three years after the end of World War 2, on the 25th of February 1948, the Communist Party seized power in Czechoslovakia. What followed was forty years of hard-line authoritarian rule and the Czechoslovak calendar remembered the date as "Victorious February". Pavla Horakova looks back at the day which changed the life of this country for so many years.
