Czech defence Minister Karla Šlechtová, who is attending the Security
Conference in Munich, wants to negotiate with her counterparts from other
NATO countries on the topics of terrorism, migration and Russia.
In addition, Šlechtová is seeking a meeting with the Iraqi Prime Minister
Haider al-Abadi to discuss the current deployment of Czech soldiers in the
Middle East and the future NATO peacekeeping mission in Iraq.
Originally, Prime Minister and ANO party leader Andrej Babiš was set to travel to Munich and negotiate with his Iraqi counterpart, but he was forced to cancel his participation in the security conference earlier this week because of flu.

The Czech Republic’s economic growth accelerated to an annual 5.1 percent
in the last quarter of 2017 from 5.0 percent in the previous quarter,
according to preliminary figures published by the Czech Statistical Office
GDP has gradually accelerated since the start of 2017, when it stood at 3.0 percent. Overall annual economic growth reached 4.5 percent last year, which was three percentage points higher than in 2016.
An extension of Prague’s underground to Václav Havel airport from the
current station at the Motol Hospital would cost 26.8 billion crowns with

The Plzeň goal came in the 81st minute. The Czech team appeared to be jolted out of a lacklustre performance when Partisan Belgrade found the net in the 58th minute.
