or "drzet nekomu palce". The sentence to look out for is
"drzte mi prosím palce", which means "please (prosím) keep

Current AffairsPlanned conference on Iraq causes controversy
A two-day conference that is to be held on the grounds of the Chamber of
Deputies this weekend has been causing much controversy. Speakers from
around Europe will be in Prague to discuss the future of Iraq but the
conference organisers have refused to reveal the names of the
participants. The speculation that followed has led to a political row, a
complaint from the Iraqi embassy, and criminal charges against Czech TV.

Current AffairsCzechs hand training duties over to Iraqis at police academy
This week saw an important milestone for the Czech mission in Iraq: on
Tuesday Czech military police serving at the Al Shaiba base near Basra, in
the southern part of the country, officially handed over command of
training at the police academy to Iraqi officials for the first time. Over
the last three years Czech military police serving in Basra have trained
thousands of Iraqi officers. More
