08-12-2006 14:20 | Gyorgyi Jakobi
Hungarians have been shocked to learn that some of their citizens are
seeking asylum in Sweden. Over 350 Roma Hungarians sought asylum in Sweden
- most were sent back. Those trying to leave were mainly from Mohacs, near
Hungary's southern border with Croatia.
Andrea Szobolits is a spokeswoman for the UN refugee agency, the UNHCR.
She's been to Mohacs to find out why so many want to leave. She spoke to
Györgyi Jakobi of Radio Budapest..
