Lenka Nová releases new album based on real-life letters

The charismatic singer Lenka Nová has recently released her fourth solo LP called Dopisy or Letters. The album is based on real-life letters, which she collected from her fans and transformed into song lyrics. Lenka Nová’s velvety alto voice is accompanied by a group of renowned musicians, including pianist Petr Malásek and guitarist Josef Štěpánek.

The Brno-born singer established herself on the Czech music scene with the band Laura and Her Tigers. In 2012, she embarked on a solo career. Since 2008, she has been working closely with lyricist Michal Horáček, with whom she cooperated on three albums, including the bestselling Czech Calendar.
