On September 1st of this year, a new law will come into effect in the Czech Republic, drawing out the terms under which organ transplants can be conducted and organ donations will be accepted. In this week's Central Europe Today, I will be looking at the state of organ donations and transplants in the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary and I start off with the Head of the Czech Transplant Centre and President of the Czech Transplantation Society Dr Stefan Vitko, to see what the new law stipulates:
